Zoologická zahrada Hodonín, Hodonín
Small but nice. That´s how most of the people, who visitied our zoo, talk about it. And they also relish they saw many things on a relatively small ground. Although the expositions are located only within a 7,5-hectare park and water area, they offer nearly 580 animals in 173 species. About 70 species belong to the threatened world fauna. The zoo in Hodonín, which is a part of Dúbrava in Hodonín, is very nice by the fact it is situated on a flat ground and is walkable for everyone without problems: for small kids, seniors and physically disabled visitors. And it is not far from the town. From its centre you can get to the zoo by public transport, from the bus stop you get here within 10 min., from the train station you can make it in twice a longer time. For cars there are two large car parks.
The boast of our almost 35-year old zoo are modern pavilion. In the oldest one there are among others sharks blackflippers, the pavilion of exotic birds can be proud of beautiful toucans or precious green macaws. Also the pavilion of primates, monkeys and terraria with chimpanzees, gibbons and guerezas are visited plentifully. The biggest attraction stays the new educational centre with quarterings and run-outs of big feline beasts, the inhabitants of which are in nature already extinct berber lions, ussurian tigers and panthers. Especially for the smallest visitors there is a contact yard with domestic animals available. The garden does not forget on the comfort of its visitors. Refreshment is offered in three buffets, you can also have your coffee on a sightseeing terrace. There are also a souvenir shop, playgrounds and modern facilities.
Pension pod Kraví horou is located in the recessive Free federative republic Kravi hora which is situated in the land register of the viticultural village Bořetice in the county of Břeclav. The pensions offers very nice accommodation with the beautiful view of the village Bořetice and its surroundings including the degustation of our good and high-quality wines. In the basement of the pension there is a wine cellar where you can sit at a glass of a good wine while listening to the country or modern music and which provides ideal rear for family celebrations, presentations, wedding banquets or business schoolings.
The village Mutěnice and its surroundings are famous especially for its viticulture, vine cyclotracks and nice atmospfere and cordiality of native residents. You can visit vine cellars in Mutěnice where wine degustations led by experts will surely inspire all fans of this delicious vintage. On our guests´ requests we also prepare programms just like barbecue, right Moravian pig-sticking, horseriding in a close ranch connected with entertainment for collectives and many other attractions.
