A family biofarm Pod Hájkem is located in the village of Horní Branná in Krkonoše. There is accommodation provided in the premises of the biofarm, it is quality, cheap and it is in a cottage for up to 20 people or in the newly opened pension with restaurant (accommodation for groups Jilemnice and surrounding). There are cycling, hiking and cross-country-skiing tracks near the place, suitable for Nordic walking (accommodation for hikers and bikers Vrchlabí and surrounding). The tourist centre Vrchlabí is only about 4 km far from there (holidays on bikes Vrchlabí and surrounding). In winter skiers can use ski lifts in Vrchlabí, Herlíkovice or Benecko (holidays for skiers Jilemnice and surrounding). An excursion in the biofarm is possible on your requet. Motorbikers are welcomed here, too (accommodation for motorbikers Krkonoše).
The cottage offers all year accommodation for bigger groups (16-20 people) in 5 bedrooms (group accommodation Vrchlabí and surrounding). Bedrooms with a bathroom and a toilet are situated on the first floor. There in the ground floor are a lounge with a table football, a fully equipped kitchen a bathroom with a toilet, a bathtub, a sink and a washing machine available (accommodation with cooking Vrchlabí and surrounding). The object has its separate access and a car park for 6 cars. There is a high speed Internet access in the whole area of the object. There is a farm restaurant on the ground floor, which is exclusively for guests of the cottage and pension (pension with restaurant Vrchlabí and surrounding). It serves traditional meals cooked mostly from local ingredients from local producers - for men dishes from organic beef, for women lighter dishes from vegetables, cereals and pseudocereals, for kids food from bio-calf (accommodation in pension with half board Vrchlabí and surrounding). Parking is available directly in front of the pension.
The zoo in Liberec is the oldest zoo in the former area of Czechoslovakia. It was founded in 1919 and presently it can be proud cca 170 animal species of the total number of nearly 1.000 specimen. Except for the wide exposition in particular specific pavilions (the pavilions of giraffes, elephants, beasts, monkeys or trops) we ensure tutorials for schools, and you can also find here the wide offer of ecological educational programms. In the lower part of the zoo you can get on a small train, the favourite department is also the contact zoo where the visitors can even pet or feed some animals.
